Since November 2, Smart Energy Group has started using of electronic signature (e-signature) within the group’s electronic workflow. That enables the enterprises of Smart Energy to provide workflow with partners and contractors in digital only, without using hard-copy documents.
E-signature implementation provided the companies of the group with the ability to sign off on the documents with the qualified digital signature instead of their physical signing and sealing by a person. There are agreements and frame agreements, amendments to the agreements and reports of completion among the documents, eligible for e-signature for now. Its application for other types of documents will be available at the next stages of this tool development in Smart Energy.
“E-signature is a convenient tool for signing-off the documents. It has legal effect of a physical signature and a seal and enables the companies to apply electronic workflow, without using hard-copies. Besides the obvious advantages of the speed and simplicity of such workflow, it also provides the security of service and additional savings. In the context of coronavirus restrictions, the e-signature is gaining even more weight, providing specialists, working with documents, with the possibility to perform all operations (approving, signing, sending) in electronic form, without leaving one’s current place of work,” Vladyslav Dmіtriiev, CIO of Smart Energy Group, commented.
E-signature launch is one more step by Smart Energy Group on the way of automation of its internal processes. It enables to simplify the documentary procedures between businesses as much as possible, while preserving their legal power. The only term of its work is e-signature by the partner-company and its readiness to work with the platform Document.Online that Smart Energy chose for its electronic workflow. Otherwise, the implementation of document workflow via different systems is impossible, while there is no roaming in e-documents workflow in Ukraine.
